Walvax Presents PCV13 Poster at ISPPD-14 in Copenhagen
(May 21, 2026, Copenhagen) Walvax Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("Walvax", stock code: 300142.SZ) is showcasing a scientific poster at the 14th International Symposium on Pneumonia and Pneumococcal Diseases (ISPPD-14), held May 17–21, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The poster presents the Phase III study protocol evaluating the immunogenicity and safety of Walvax's 13-Valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (PCV13-TT) compared to Pfizer's PCV13, when co-administered with routine vaccines in Indonesian infants under a 2 primary doses plus 1 booster dose (2+1) schedule.
The Phase III clinical study in Indonesia is now in its final stage. The anticipated data on the 2+1 dosing schedule and co-administration with routine vaccines will carry significant implications — demonstrating that a reduced primary series can deliver comparable immunogenicity and a well-tolerated and acceptable safety profile, while offering greater programmatic flexibility for national immunization programs.
ISPPD-14 is the premier global scientific event dedicated to the exchange and advancement of the latest discoveries in pneumococcal disease prevention and treatment, bringing together scientific, clinical, and public health experts from around the world.
This participation at ISPPD-14 builds on Walvax's continued engagement with the global vaccine science community.
